Stephanie and Orson Bean Kick Off The Shadowland Theatre's
2009 Season!

     Shadowland opens its 25th Anniversary season with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Arthur Miller's classic drama. Like most of his work, "The Price" is as relevant now as the day it was written. Engaging, funny and surprisingly timely, this tale of the ages is a thoughtful exploration of the 'price' we pay for the decisions we make.

     Forty years after their father lost everything in the Great Depression, two estranged brothers are forced sell off their deceased father's remaining belongings. Their history of resentment and responsibility fuels this compelling drama, as the brothers haggle with a charismatic antiques dealer who'll teach them as much about life as furniture.

      "The Price" runs opens on May 29th and runs through June 14th in Ellenville, New York.
