Private Investigator
Laura Holt found herself unable to obtain clients for her
newly founded agency. When all else failed, she
decided to create a superior, a decidedly masculine
superior. It wasn't long before there were cases lined
up around the block, all wanting the services of the great
detective Remington Steele. The pretense worked until
the day a con man stumbled upon the fact that there was no
such person as Remington Steele. Finding himself
infatuated with Laura, the mystery man decided to assume the
identity of the figment of her imagination. Remington
Steele ran for five years and a total of 94 episodes.
